RARE White Creek Turquoise (Nevada) Graduated 7-16mm Nugget Beads , 16 inch Strand
The White Creek mine is located in northeast Nevada, in the cluster of mines including Lander, No. 8, Blue Gem, Dry Creek and Fox, but has been out of production since the 80`s. This is the original "white" Turquoise, the unusually light blue color is due to the presence of Aluminum rather than copper. This is similar in coloring to the Dry Creek Turquoise that came out of the Godber mine. These stunning south western style beads measure 8to 16mm.
