Blue/Brown Kingman Turquoise (Arizona) Irregular Nugget Beads 10-16mm, 8 Inch Strand/14 Beads

Ceremonial Kingman turquoise is a specific highly sought-after variation of turquoise sourced from the historic Kingman Turquoise Mine in Mineral Park, Arizona. It is characterized by its vibrant blue-green or purple hues interwoven with a rich, prominent brown, amber, or water-web matrix. This distinctive pattern provides an earthy, rustic depth that contrasts sharply with the classic sky-blue, clean-face turquoise the mine is traditionally known for.

The Kingman Turquoise Mine, located in Arizona's Cerbat Mountains and operated by the Colbaugh family, it one of the oldest, largest, and most significant. It is one of the last remaining commercial producers of American turquoise. Famous for its vibrant, high-blue, black-matrix nuggets, the mine produces a wide variety of colors and is a major source for the southwestern jewelry industry.
