White Water Turquoise (Mexico) Graduated 7x13-9x20mm Smooth Nugget Beads, 8 Inch Strand/14 Beads

Beautiful blue with white and pyrite matrix.

These have been stabilized using the Zachary treatment method. The Zachery treatment is a proprietary, non-toxic process developed in the 1980s that enhances turquoise by reducing porosity, increasing density, and improving color and polish. Unlike plastic stabilization, it does not use dyes or resins, but increases potassium levels, making the stone more durable and resistant to oils.

White Water Turquoise is a high-grade deposit sourced from the Campitos mine located on Campitos Mountain outside Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. This mine is renowned for producing some of the most stunning turquoise, featuring beautiful sky blue to aqua blue hues. White Water Turquoise often contains sparkling pyrite inclusions, enhancing its distinctive appearance. It is considered a higher-grade turquoise due to its intense blue color and dream-like white matrices. The gems from this claim frequently showcase the sought-after "water web" and "Birdseye" matrix patterns, making them particularly desirable among collectors and jewelry makers. Most White Water Turquoise is found in nugget form rather than as vein material, with nuggets typically ranging in size from a pinto bean to that of a golf ball. On rare occasions, the mine produces larger nuggets, further adding to its allure.
