RARE Hardy Pit Kingman Turquoise (Arizona) Matching Earring Slab Bead Pair, 19x26mm

Hardy Pit turquoise is, highly sough after, and often stabilized turquoise from a specific area within the historic Kingman mine in Arizona. Known for vibrant, old-school colors—ranging from bright blue to green—it often features a distinct light-colored matrix, quartz pockets, or "red spiderwebbing". It is considered high-quality material often compared to Turquoise Mountain finds.

The Kingman Turquoise Mine, located in Arizona's Cerbat Mountains and operated by the Colbaugh family, it one of the oldest, largest, and most signifigant. It is one of the last remaining commercial producers of American turquoise. Famous for its vibrant, high-blue, black-matrix nuggets, the mine produces a wide variety of colors and is a major source for the southwestern jewelry industry.
