Amazing Azurite & Turquose designs

Turquoise and designing jewelry started with us as a family here at StonesNSilver.com

Back in the early days, when StonesNSilver.com just got started, my daughter Shelby Rich used to make jewelry creations, do repairs at our bead shop and teach classes ... did I mention she started out as my shipping clerk in high school?

A lot of her jewerly creations were done from stones and beads Shelby personally selected and collected when we went on our yearly buying trips ... so unfortunately these items are one-of-a-kind. Of course every year when we travel to gem shows, we do find a different and new selection of these rare gems ... those one-of-a-kind strands, focal nuggets or cabochon stones.  The necklace on the right was created with Turquoise nuggets and Lapis Lazuli square heishi spacers … the focal piece is an amazing wire wrapped Azurite nugget with crystalline druzy.  As for the second necklace on the left ...

Rough Azurite Nugget Necklace from Bisbee, Arizona mine
This necklace is beyond description! Just a short story to go along with it . . . every buying trip we find that one or two really amazing things, as was the case with this strand of Azurite rough crystalline drusy graduating nuggets! Shelby found just two remarkable strands of this and she kept one seen below, that she made the necklace seen in the photo from. This Azurite comes from Bisbee, Arizona and is a once in a lifetime find for us . . .the dumortierite beads worked as great as spacers. Everyone who collects gemstones from American mines should have one of these … I'm just sayin.
