Needles Blue is rare stone from the Blue Danube Mine in Lake Havasu. Needles blue is composed of chalcedony within a Ryholite matrix, the chalcedony is colored blue by trace amounts of copper. This stunning piece features a thick vein of chalcedony shown through a striking rhyolite matrix. On the center to right side of this piece you will see a splash of striking dark-blue gem silica!
