RARE McGuinness Turquoise BIG Designer Mixed Shape Beads, 18 inch strand. Each strand is one-of-a-kind with different shapes that graduate from 4mm up to 12x16mm barrel bead. Only the dark strand is left.
This mine is located in central Nevada and turquoise was first found there around 1930. It is in such a remote and high area, the weather and rough conditions make it difficult to mine. It is only worked on a small scale today and is very hard to find cut into beads.
