Mykonos Metalized Ceramic Beads are hand-formed and a labor of love. These wonderful beads start as kiln-fired terracotta "biscuits." They are then fired a second time with rough copper, and finished with a coating of Pure Copper, Fine Silver (100.0%), or 24 Karat Gold. Green Patinaed Copper and Antique Patinaed Silver beads are created by applying a chemical patina to the respective metals.
