This stone is actually Larvikite but often called Blue Norwegian Moonstone, it is a light to dark gray coarse grained feldspar-rich rock that has distinct markings that make it different from standard moonstone. In essence larvikite exhibits light blue "flashlike reflections" on some surfaces; the reflections are frequently referred to as a pearl-gray iridescence, opalescence, or even labradorescence. Sometimes called Blue Pearl, it comes from Lark, Norway.
