Shipping and Return Policy

Shipping Policy -
Usually orders are shipped the next day after placing your order.  Your credit card will not be charged until just prior to shipping out your package. If you pay by check, and we do not ship your order until your check has cleared (approx. 7 business days).

Domestic Shipping Methods:  (Continental U.S.)
Orders are automatically shipped via US Postal Service First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation so that they can be tracked at www.USPS.com.   If you would like to request a Signature Confirmation instead, please do so in the COMMMENTS box upon checkout when placing your order.  NOTE that packages shipped with the Signature Confirmation will not be delivered unless signed by the person in the Ship To address.  We do not ship by UPS, Federal Express or any other carrier at this time.

NOTE:  large orders with excessively heavy beads may be charged a surcharge on top of these rates.

Non-USA Shipping/Handling Methods & Rates:
The only shipping option for International orders is by US Postal Service First Class OR Priority International Shipping depending upon the size of the order and the shipping destination.   To calculate your shipping rate simply add $8.95 to the rate chart above.  If your order is excessively large or has heavy beads (that weight 1 pound or more), then you can expect up to be charged an additional amount depending upon the actual cost.  Insurance & tracking is NOT available on International orders - shipping is at buyers risk.  You are responsible for paying for any Customs duties or postal fees levied by your postal service or your country's government.   Packages shipped this method usually take a few weeks to arrive, however sometimes your countries customs may hold packages for reasons out of our control.   Please would contact your countires customs department directly to verify delivery times from USA prior to ordering.

Due to the high risk of internet fraud, if the billing address and shipping address is DIFFERENT on an international order, we require that payment be made in the form of a USA Money Order prior to shipping package.    To place an order, when checking out select "Mailing in Payment" and print out the order receipt and mailing in your Money Order with it.   We will hold the order for 10 days pending receipt of payment.  Orders are shipping the next day after payment is received.    We DO NOT SHIP to these countries:   Indonesia, Malaysia, Benin, Nigeria, Pakistan, Israel, Egypt, Yugoslavia and possibly more.


Return Policy -

RETURNS OF BEADS & BEADING PRODUCTS:
Due to the great amount of time involved for web site setup, we DO NOT accept returns or exchanges on products under the Beads (includes beads, cabs, findings, supplies, etc.) category unless something has arrived *damaged in some way during shipping.  If this is the case, notify us within seven (7) days of receipt of the merchandise that you would like to return it due to damage.   
         We have attempted to accurately depict the products offered on this web site by taking a photograph(s) of the exact items for sale.  The true color of a stone will be viewed differently depending upon your computer monitor settings and products also may appear larger or smaller than its actual size SO please read the sizing details for a product before buying it!  Most photographs have been enlarged to show detail and all measurements are approximate.     
          Rest assured that we put a lot of time and effort into providing quality beads, please read our FAQ's & What Customers Say pages!   If you have a question about a product please read the item description including sizing information OR EMAIL US your inquiry before buying.
*NOTE "Beads Damaged in Shipping" does not include routine imperfections that are common to beads such as:   imperfect edges around the holes and common inclusions you might expect to find in a rock OR occassionally on a strand of beads there might be one or two that have a crack in them, we try to avoid this by hand-selecting, but some stones are prone to cracking.  Some stones are "primative" in nature and may have pits and/or geode type holes, especially jaspers and large beads, thus we cannot promise that every bead will be perfect.  PLEASE read about Quality and Hand-Selection on our FAQ's page for further details.

RETURNS OF FINISHED JEWELRY PRODUCTS:
If you are not satisfied with the jewelry you have purchased, we will happily refund your money. Simply notify us within seven (7) days of receipt of the merchandise that you would like to return it. Original shipping charges and return freight are the responsibility of the Purchaser. A 15% restocking fee will apply to cover the costs involved in returns (credit card processing fees included).  If you choose to EXCHANGE your return item for other merchandise, we will gladly waive the restocking fee.   NOTE:  No returns, refunds or exchanges will be accepted on anything that is marked down for sales, clearances or being discontinued.

RETURN PROCEDURE   
   1)   EMAIL US within 7 days of receipt that you have a qualified item to return and let us know if you want to receive a credit on your M/C or VISA (less the 15% restock fee) or want to exchange for other items.
   2)   Please ship merchandise back in protective packaging as it must be in re-sellable condition to qualify for a refund.

   3)   Upon receipt, we will either credit your card or email you with a special code to enter upon checkout for your next order that will automatically apply the credit due.
